Body found floating in pond at Queens golf course

NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- A dead man was found floating in a pond at a golf course in Queens on Wednesday morning, police said.

The 40-year-old man was spotted around 9:30 a.m. in a pond at Kissena Golf Course in Flushing.

He was pronounced dead at the scene after being pulled from the pond near Fresh Meadow Lane and Peck Avenue, police said.

He had no visible signs of trauma to his body, according to police.

The medical examiner will determine his cause of death.
