    At least fifteen police units pursuing suspect through the Mission who rammed into police cars and stole a vehicle

    A little after 10 pm on Thursday, April 8, a suspect attempted to assault a police officer on Texas St and 19th St in the Dogpatch neighborhood of San Francisco.

    The suspect then fled in what turned out to be a stolen 1999 green Honda Civic.

    The car’s license plate Is 4FLC095.

    With at least fifteen police units in pursuit, the police reported the suspect was driving down the wrong side of the road.

    Amid the sound of sirens, police reported they were on the correct side of the road as they approached 23rd St.

    The suspect merged onto the southbound side of the 280 freeway as of approximately 10:15 pm.

    As of 10:26 pm, the suspect was on the freeway going the wrong way at approximately 30 miles per hour.

    The vehicle lost control and hit a tree, but are still driving.

    Police are looping around the city and spike strips are reportedly now down.

    The suspect then rammed through multiple patrol cars as they pursued the suspect. No officers were reported injured.

    The suspect then attempted to assault an officer again, likely by attempting to hit them with their car, but this is unknown.

    The driver once again has taken off as of 10:43 pm at the time of this writing.

    The new address for the incident was changed to Mission St and Valencia St in the Mission District

    The suspect was last seen driving southbound on Mission toward Valencia Street.

    It is unknown at this time how the pursuit will end.
