State Police Investigating Fatal Train Strike in Central New York
New York State Police are investigating a tragic incident where a pedestrian was struck and killed by a freight train. The New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) announced academic honors Friday with Section III schools earning distinctions. In total, 11 Section III athletic departments from the Utica-Rome metro area were included in earning school of distinction or a school of excellence.
