HARKER HEIGHTS, Texas — A beloved roller skating rink in Harker Heights was engulfed in flames Thursday, July 4, according to several local users on social media. Facebook users in the area shared photos and video of the large plumes of smoke coming out of Texas Skateland, located at 205 Cox Dr. In them, the Harker Heights Fire Department was seen putting out the flames just before 2 p.m.
