They haven't been collecting the proper amount for impact fees for years. So no, the money for infrastructure is not actually there. It's the General Revenue that's expected to pick up the slack, because the Board of County Commissioners wouldn't collect the proper amount of impact fees. Fortunately, we are going to get a new majority but it's too late on the impact fees. The current board has done us dirty, leaving us collecting pennies on the dollar to the tune of almost $600 million shortfall.
