US 131 in downtown Grand Rapids is likely the most intense drive outside of Metro Detroit.</p><p>Perhaps it's not an urban setting but rather you find yourself white-knuckled at the prospect of driving the Mackinac Bridge. The 4 lanes over the 5 mile Straits of Mackinac are too much for some drivers. Stick to the speed limit and the rightmost or next-to-rightmost lane. Let speeding drivers work around you.
