    Pair sought for punching and robbing man in East Harlem

    NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Police on Friday released photos of two men accused of punching and robbing a man in East Harlem last month.

    It happened at approximately 9:36 p.m. on Monday, July 15, when a 40-year-old victim was standing in front of 1974 2nd Ave. in East Harlem, cops said.

    According to officials, two unknown suspects approached the man and punched him multiple times in the face and body then stole his wallet from his front pocket.

    The suspects then fled on foot southbound on 2nd Avenue.

    EMS transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan in stable condition.
