Robber with knife menaces worker, 66, at Brooklyn fast food joint

NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Police on Tuesday released photos of a knife-wielding man accused of robbing a worker at a Brooklyn fast food joint last week.

It happened at approximately 2:18 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 14, when the suspect entered a store located at 871 3rd Ave. in Sunset Park.

According to officials, the suspect displayed a knife and threatened a 66-year-old employee while demanding money.

The suspect took approximately $800 from a register, store merchandise, and the victim’s phone before he fled on foot northbound on 3rd Avenue.

There were no injuries as a result of this incident.
