NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – Police are searching for five suspects after a man was beaten and robbed while walking home in the Bronx.

The NYPD released images Tuesday showing the group of men wanted for the attack in the Fordham section on the night of Aug. 12.

The 57-year-old victim was headed home around 11:30 p.m. when he was ambushed at West 190th Street and Jerome Avenue, just north of the Fordham Road 4-train station, police said.

The men kicked and punched him repeatedly and stole his wallet, cellphone and debit car, according to cops.

He suffered various injuries but was not hospitalized, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.

People realize it’s not the place it’s the generation. These kids that are doing it have no respect. If you teach them that Jordan and iPhones are what matters most well they will find a way to get them. Just like every other generation before.
