NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a group of suspects accused of beating and robbing a man on an Upper East Side subway train last month, authorities said.

At approximately 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, a 43-year-old man was approached by a group of six suspects on the southbound 4 Train.

According to officials, the suspects repeatedly punched and kicked the victim, causing bruising and pain before stealing his cellphone, wallet, Apple MacBook, keys, $350, debit card, and credit cards.

The suspects fled the location on foot to parts unknown. The victim sustained minor injuries but was not hospitalized.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
