    2 teens attacked, robbed while selling clothing in the Bronx

    NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police on Tuesday released photos of two suspects accused of violently robbing two teens selling clothing to them in the Bronx last month.

    It happened at approximately 5:17 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 26, when two 16-year-old boys went to sell clothing to one of the suspects in the vicinity of East 170th Street and Webster Avenue in Claremont Village.

    When the teens reached the location, they were approached by a group of six people who then began to physically assault the teens and forcibly stole their property.

    According to police, the property consisted of a wallet, tennis racket, book bag, denim hoodie, sneakers, and $500.

    The suspects then fled in an unknown direction.

    Both victims were taken by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/Saint Barnabas Hospital to be treated for their injuries.
