    Thieves steal package from victim's hands in Bronx knifepoint robbery

    NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police on Wednesday released photos of three men accused of stealing a package from the victim's hands in a knifepoint robbery in the Bronx last month.

    It happened at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 20, in front of 1765 Townsend Ave. in Mount Hope, authorities said.

    According to officials, a 38-year-old man was walking in front of the location when the three suspects approached the victim, brandished a knife and forcibly took a package from his hands.

    The trio then fled on a red moped eastbound on 175th Street.

    The victim was not injured as a result of this incident.
