NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police on Friday released surveillance footage of a trio of men sought for pulling a 14-year-old boy off a Bronx subway train and robbing him of his chain earlier this week.

It happened just before 5 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 9, when the boy was aboard a northbound 5 train as it was approaching the Pelham Parkway subway station, officials said.

When the train pulled into the station, the three suspects approached the teen and acting in concert, they forcibly removed the victim from the train onto the platform.

The men then forcibly took a chain from the victim’s neck and fled the station heading to parts unknown.

The victim remained in the station.

There were no reported injuries as a result of this incident.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).

Very sad, parents should educate their kids about not wearing jewelry on the train or flashing their cell phones. We are living in dangerous times. Folks don't care about each other.
