    Man in critical condition after duo pummels his face on Queens subway train

    NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police on Friday released photos of two men accused of pummeling a man on a Queens subway train leaving him critically injured earlier this week.

    At approximately 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 11, a 35-year-old man was aboard the southbound A train at the 104th Street station in Ozone Park when he was approached by the two men, authorities said.

    According to officials, the suspects engaged in a verbal dispute and began to punch the victim repeatedly in the face. The victim fell to the ground and the men proceeded to kick the victim multiple times before fleeing the scene on foot to parts unknown.

    The victim was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in critical condition.
