NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A Brooklyn laundromat worker was seriously injured Monday afternoon when she was stabbed in the neck by a man who was upset his laundry wasn’t done yet, police said Tuesday.

The 50-year-old woman was working at Super Laundry at 2061 Bath Ave. in Bath Beach when she was attacked by the enraged customer.

The man was apparently angry that he'd dropped off his laundry at 7 a.m. and it wasn’t ready when he returned around 2 p.m., police said.

He jumped over the counter and stabbed the worker multiple times, including in the neck, according to police.

The victim was taken to NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn, where she was listed in serious but stable condition.

The suspect fled the scene and remained at large Tuesday.
