Man with chihuahua wanted for groping girls, 11, on Queens bus

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police on Friday released surveillance footage of a man with a chihuahua in his bag accused of groping 11-year-old girls minutes apart on a Queens bus earlier this week.

The first incident happened at approximately 7:37 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18, authorities said.

According to officials, an 11-year-old girl was on a Q58 MTA bus approaching 86-15 Broadway in Elmhurst when the suspect approached and touched her breast.

The suspect remained on the bus.

Minutes later, at about 7:45 a.m., an 11-year-old girl riding on the Q58 MTA bus approaching 71-15 Grand Ave. in Maspeth was approached by the man who touched her hip and private area, the NYPD said.

The suspect then exited the bus at 72nd Street and Grand Avenue and fled the location on foot, traveling northbound on 72nd Street, cops said.

The suspect is believed to be approximately 30 to 45 years old. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a yellow jacket, black sweatpants and brown shoes.
