Gun-wielding burglar threatens woman, 67, in Bronx home

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police on Thursday released a photo of a man accused of an armed burglar who threatened a woman in her Bronx home over the weekend.

Just after 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21, the suspect entered a residential building in the vicinity of Westchester Avenue and Home Street in Longwood through the front door, officials said.

Once inside, the suspect displayed a firearm and threatened a 67-year-old woman before fleeing the location to parts unknown.

No property was taken during the incident, authorities said.
