NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Two men were struck and killed by subway trains in Brooklyn on Monday morning, leading to service disruptions on multiple lines, officials said.

The two victims were struck just a few hours apart at stations in Bensonhurst and Bedford-Stuyvesant.

The first man was hit by an N-line train just after 3:30 a.m. at the 62nd Street/New Utrecht Avenue station.

The 41-year-old victim was walking on the tracks at the time, police said. The conductor tried to stop using the emergency brake, but the train didn’t stop in time and struck him. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
