Audi SUV driver wanted for running down woman, 25, in Brooklyn

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police released a photo on Monday of the car a driver used to run down a woman in Brooklyn last month.

The hit-and-run was reported to the NYPD on Aug. 29 at around 6:50 p.m., when a 25-year-old woman was walking westbound on Flatlands Avenue, crossing the intersection of East 82nd Street in Canarsie.

She was struck by a white four-door Audi SUV traveling northbound on East 82nd Street, driven by an unidentified suspect, police said.

The victim was knocked unconscious and sustained serious physical injuries. She was taken to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, where she was in stable condition.

The unidentified suspect fled the scene, traveling northbound on East 82nd Street.
