    $2K in cash stolen from purse during Queens subway fight

    NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police on Wednesday released a photo of a man accused of stealing thousands of dollars from a woman's purse during a fight inside a Queens subway station last month.

    It happened at approximately 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 10, inside of the Parsons Boulevard-Archer Avenue J line train station, authorities said.

    According to officials, a 20-year-old woman and an unidentified individual engaged in a dispute.

    The suspect snatched approximately $2,000 from the victim’s purse then fled the location on foot to parts unknown.

    The suspect was last seen wearing a black shower cap, a white sweater, white pants, white socks, and black slippers.
