NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Between Saturday night and early Sunday morning there were two separate, fatal accidents in Manhattan and the Bronx that killed four people, according to the NYPD.

The driver of the SUV was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in stable condition.

Visible behind a taped off police scene later Sunday morning was the black Toyota and black scooter, both totaled, with oil leaking from the undercarriage and glass on the pavement.

Seven hours before the accident another fatal crash took place in the Claremont section of the Bronx, killing two men and injuring two others.

A Honda Accord was traveling north on Park Avenue at about 9:30 p.m. Saturday night when it collided with a Toyota Highlander moving east on Claremont Parkway, police said.

Two victims, ages 24 and 25, were pronounced dead. Police said that the others, ages 27 and 30, are listed in serious but stable condition.

No one in the Toyota was injured, officials said.

Citizen App video from the scene on Saturday night shows a heavy police, fire and EMS presence and remnants of a totaled white vehicle.

Both crashes are being investigated by the NYPD’s Highway Patrol Collision Investigation Squad.
