NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A Long Island gas station employee was arrested on Wednesday after a teen reported being groped by the man, according to the Suffolk County Police Department.

On Monday, a 16-year-old girl walked into the BP gas station in Huntington at around 10 p.m. and engaged in conversation with the attendant.

The employee then forcibly touched the female two separate times, cops said.

The victim then left the gas station and reported the incident to the Suffolk County Police Department the next day.

Following an investigation, Harjindar Singh, 61, was arrested.

Singh was charged with forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child.

Singh was set to be arraigned on Thursday.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on this case or who may be a victim of Singh, to contact the Second Squad at 631-854-8252.
