Can Michigan Ignore Possible Federal TikTok Ban?
The beautiful thing about the United States of America is, while we do have to adhere to certain federal laws, and national guidelines, our individual states also still have their own prerogative to make their own laws and rules within certain guidelines. Case and point, marijuana is still federally banned,...
Is Michigan Actually Home To The World’s Shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade?
Everyone's a little Irish on St. Patrick's Day! So that means a little parade is ok too then, right?. I have to admit I'm a little disappointed by Michigan's lack of enthusiasm for St. Patrick's Day this year. Maybe it goes hand-in-hand with the lackluster winter we all just experienced including record-high temps and record-low ice coverage on the Great Lakes.
Ohio Grocery Story Is Part Amusement Park, Part Fever Dream
The one-of-a-kind grocery store has been featured on such major networks as the History Channel, Food Network, and the Travel Channel. However I happened to stumble upon it via TikTok, of course. Judging from its exterior you'd never guess there's a grocery store inside a building surrounded by oversized animals,...

Clinton Township Explosion Videos are Horrifying
A crazy explosion rocked Clinton Township overnight and the videos will melt your brain. Monday at 9:13 PM the Clinton Township Police Department took to social media to ask the public to stay away from the site of a developing tragedy as an industrial fire near 15 Mile Road and Groesbeck Highway was intense. The police wanted to make sure the public stayed out of harm's way and stayed out of the way of first responders. Local law enforcement reported on their Facebook page that Select Distributors was on fire and explained that the explosion sent lots of debris flying through the air. By the looks and sounds of the video below it wasn't just one explosion. It sounded like rapid-fire explosions one after the other.

Did you know that one of the largest and most famous used bookstores in the world lives in Michigan?. I stumbled upon a couple of TikTok videos last night featuring the John K. The CNN article cites the fact that King's Bookstore has more than a million books in 900 categories as the reason why. That by itself is quite an honor.

Ohio Will Soon Be Invaded By a Bug You Shouldn’t Kill
With spring comes the bugs, and if you're anything like me, you don't like the bugs. Of course, there are some bugs that are better left alone. But sometimes it can be difficult to know which bugs to leave alone, especially when they remind us of the ones we dislike the most.
Dear Meijer, What is the Difference Between These Chips?
When it comes to potato chips, I'm either a kettle-cooked guy, or just the straight forward, flat and warped chip kind of person. Nothing too spectacular, other than maybe a little extra crunch and texture on the kettle-cooked chips. But once in a while a good Ruffle, or wavy chip...
