That was over 400 years ago! The website also states that lobster is actually healthy for you, so eat up if you're a fan.</p><p>When looking for a seafood place, tourists will stick close to coastal towns like Kennebunk, York, Portland, Rockland, and Bar Harbor. It seems logical that the best seafood would be at the coast, but that's not necessarily true.</p><p>We Mainers know the not-so-obvious choices for seafood, and where to stay away from the tourists when they arrive for the season. Just because these places aren't along the coast doesn't mean that they don't get freshly caught seafood on a regular basis.
