Because of the time it generally took to get something shipped to you from an online (or magazine) order, going to the store was almost always the preferred method of buying stuff.</p><p>When the largest online retailers started offering 2-day and overnight delivery, the game changed.</p><p>The fact that people could now get nearly anything, from groceries to electronics, delivered right to their homes, caused pain for many brick-and-mortar retailers. The drop in sales has caused many retail chains to close locations. In several cases, it has even led several chains to fold completely.</p><h2>Another National Retailer Has Announced Store Closures</h2><p>According to Market Watch, <a href="https://www.llflooring.com/">L.L. Flooring</a>, which is the new name for Lumber Liquidators, has announced it has filed for bankruptcy. As a result, the company will be closing nearly 100 stores over the next few months.</p><p>That's nearly 25% of their stores!</p><p>The article goes on to explain that they hope to sell the business to another company. In a statement, the company claims to be in negotiations with potential buyers.</p><p>Check out a list of the stores scheduled for closure <a href="https://www.llflooring.com/store-closings/">HERE</a>. Those stores are currently holding 'closing' sales.
