New England Voted This Ice Cream Brand as the Favorite in All 6 States
No matter what state in New England you can name, the vote was unanimous. Ben & Jerry's is the favorite brand of ice cream, and with good reason. I can't think of one person. I can, however, think of several people who have made me stop the car when driving by an ice cream stand. Here in New England, we probably don't have as many as in other parts of the country, considering that our weather can get stupid cold. But that does not mean that our love doesn't run deep for the creamy goodness.

I am a proud resident of Lewiston, Maine. Recently, I have noticed a little extra color in our town. As I was driving around near St. Mary's Hospital on Campus Avenue, something popped out at me. As I was sitting in the passenger seat, I looked to my right and...
Remember When Little Kirsten Dunst Was in Keene, NH, Filming ‘Jumanji’?
I know they came out with a few new Jumanji movies in the past five years. I have nothing against Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, and I'm sure these movies are delightful, but I have no desire to watch them. Why? Out of respect for the original and the late Robin Williams, of course! It's the same reason I won't watch the new Aladdin. Some things don't need to be replicated.

There’s A New England Company that Actually Makes Earthworm Jerky
I've eaten some weird stuff in my time. When I used to work in kitchens almost exclusively, back in the day, I would often seek out weird foods that sounded a bit odd. Some were really tasty shad roe, a weird delicacy found on the inside of shad fish. And some were really gross, like scrambled beef blood. Imagine the texture of scrambled eggs, but the taste like liver.

These Asphalt Temperatures in New England Could Hurt Your Dog This Summer
Summer is here, and so are the hot temperatures. It is really easy for humans to forget how the heat affects our dogs, and it is to no fault of humans. I declare as a proud dog dad that people need a reminder every summer that the heat affects humans and dogs differently.
