A snack sold around South Carolina has been over a "serious" concern that could cause a "life-threatening" reaction in certain consumers.

Truly Good Foods has issued a recall of its 3.25-ounce packages of Grabeez The Big Cheese Snack Mix cups after it was discovered they contain almonds and cashews that were not declared on the product packaging. As the nuts were not listed on the label, the affected products pose the risk of causing a "serious or life-threatening allergic reaction" to consumers with an allergy or severe sensitivity, according to a recall notice shared September 25 by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration .

The products — packaged in a plastic container with a green label and featuring a Best Before date of 04/16/25 and the UPC 0 94184 00439 8 — were sent to distribution centers in Florida, Georgia, Maryland and Texas as well as retail locations in Florida, Illinois, Minnesota, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Washington D.C. from August 23 to September 19.

An investigation was launched after a customer noticed the incorrect cup and indicates that the issue is a result of a "temporary breakdown in the company's production and packaging process" that seemingly mislabeled the Big Cheese Snack Mix as another product, per the FDA.

As of time of the recall notice, no illnesses have been reported. Consumers who have purchased the affected products can submit a form for a full refund at the Truly Good Food's website .

Maybe they just need to start naming the foods/drinks that aren't recalled. Seems like a shorter list
