Jeannie Mai Wants Ex Jeezy To Pay Up In Divorce Settlement

Mai, 45, alleges that Jeezy, born Jay Wayne Jenkins, 46, isn’t following through on the terms. She says that included her taking possession of two cars, a 2021 Range Rover and a 2022 Ford Bronco, neither of which he’s turned over.

She also says he agreed to put $500K in an account for their daughter and to pay for her daycare and tuition. He also owes her over $90,000 to cover four months of rent payments from May through August.

Mai further says that Jeezy and his representatives have ‘ghosted’ her since July. Their divorce was settled on June 11.

After dating for almost two years, the former co-host of The Real and the “Put On” rap star were married in Atlanta in 2021. But the marriage was over by 2023 when Jeezy filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences.”

The couple’s relationship and marriage were fraught with several crises, including the unexpected death of Jeezy’s mother, the COVID-19 pandemic and Jeannie’s emergency surgery while she was competing on Dancing with the Stars . But the divorce surprised celebrity watchers as everything seemed fine between the two, at least from the outside looking in.

But Mai says that Jeezy was abusive, an allegation he’s denied. He says, in fact, that Mai wanted a second child with him. She said she was “gutted” by the divorce and found out about it at the same time everyone else did.

Their divorce settlement was sealed, so this is the first time some of the terms have been made public. The couple did have a prenuptial agreement, but it appears Jeezy has not followed through on some of the stipulations. To that end, Mai says she wants him to pay up and wants the court to hold him in contempt.
