The Dallas Cowboys remain highly optimistic about getting a deal done with star wideout CeeDee Lamb, who continues to hold out from training camp in search of a payday. Still, according to Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram , a gap remains in what the Cowboys are offering and what Lamb wants.

Per Hill, a deal isn't close to getting done as the Cowboys' offer to Lamb hasn't reached $33 million per year, while Lamb "is looking for a deal in the neighborhood" of the one the Minnesota Vikings gave star receiver Justin Jefferson, which pays him $35 million per year.

Shan, RJ and Bobby discussed that report and Jason LaCanfora's report where he spoke with NFL execs, contract negotiators and agents around the NFL who said Jerry Jones screwed up the negotiations with Dak Prescott.
