Convicted sex offender arrested again on child sex crime charges

A convicted sex offender from the Upstate is once again facing child sex crime charges. South Carolina Attorney General's Office says 60 year old, Daniel Branum of Chesnee was arrested Wednesday on multiple counts of the sexual exploitation of a minor.

The AG's Office says a tip from the National Center For Missing And Exploited Children led to the investigation. Branum is accused of owning and sharing files that depicted child sexual abuse.

He was previously convicted on similar charges back in 2010.
