    Primary Election Results from around the Upstate and beyond

    Here are the results from the Primary Elections in the major races around the Upstate and statewide.

    In the U.S. Congressional races here are the Republican Primary results
    District 1 Nancy Mace 56%, Catherine Templeton 29% and Bill Young 13%.
    District 2 Joe Wilson 74%, Hamp Redmond 26%
    District 2 Democratic Primary David Robinson II 84%, Daniel Shrief 16%

    District 3 was a crowded field, Mark Burns with 33%, Sheri Biggs 28%, Stewart Jones with 18%, Kevin Bishop 10% (no other candidates had 10% or more). There will be a run off June 25th between Burns and Biggs. In the Democratic Primary in District 3 Byron Best 63% Frances Guldner 37%.

    District 4 William Timmons held off a hard charging challenge from Adam Morgan. Timmons got just over 51% and Adam Morgan got just over 48%.

    District 6 Duke Buckner 56% , Justin Scott 46%. District 7 Mal Hyman 51% and Daryl Scott 49%.

    State Senate District 6 Jason Elliott 48%, Ben Carper 31% and Dan Nickles 20%.
    State Senate District 12- Lee Bright 39%, Roger Allen Nutt 23%, Hope Blackley 22%% and Skip Davenport 18 %. There will be a run off between Bright and Nutt.

    Statehouse Republican Primaries- District 5 Neal Collins 55%, Brandy Tarleton 45%. District 7 Jay West 55%, Lee Gilreath 45%. District 10 Thomas Beach with just over 70%, Pam Anthony with just over 29%.

    District 17 Mike Burns 70% and Tom Bates with 30%. District 18 Alan Morgan 60%, Tramaine Booker 40%. District 19 Patrick Haddon 83%, Nate Marcionette 17%. District 20 Stephen Frank 57%, Sarah Curran 43%.

    District 22 Paul Wickenseimer 54% and Stan Tzouvelekas 46%. District 24 Bruce Bannister 83%, Bill Coleman 17%. District 25 Democratic Primary Wendell Jones 75% and activist Bruce Wilson 25%.

    District 28 Chris Huff 38%, Kerri Smith 19% and Allen Kellett 19%, Daniel Rumfelt 14%, Troy Prosser 9%. District 35 Kevin Dunn 52% and Bill Chumley 48%.

    Greenville County Coroner Mike Ellis 68%, Dale Arterburn 32%.

    Greenville County Council District 18 Kelly Cason Long 59%, Mike Barnes 41%. District 20 Steve Shaw 42%, Alex Reynolds 34% and Ken Matesevac 24%. District 21 Curt McGahhey 56% and incumbent Chris Harrison 42%. District 25 Democratic Primary Ennis Fant 46%, Derrick Quarles 34%, Lisa Bailey Sweeney 16% and Patrick Prince 3%. There will be a run off between Fant and Quarles June 25th. District 27 Republican Primary Garey Collins 70%, Butch Kirven 30%.

    Statehouse District 38 Josiah Magnuson 64%, Jason Shamis 36%. District 33 Travis Moore 62%, Bill Devore 38%. District 36 Rob Harris 58%, Adam Crisp 42%.

    District 2 Adam Duncan 50.5%, Bill Sandifer 49.5 %. District 7 Lee Gilreath 64%, Jay West 36%. District 8 56% and Sherry Hodges 44%. District 9 Blake Sanders 41%, James Galyean 38% and Rick Bradshaw 19%. There will be a run off between Sanders and Galyean.

    District 6 April Cromer 56% and Kyle White 44%. District 10 Thomas Beach 66% and Pam Anthony 34%.
