GVL Humane Society Launches New Program

Picking that perfect pet can be hard... so if you're just not ready to committ, how about...dog dates!

The Greenville Humane Society has launched a new program called Paws Around GVL. It's a "doggy day out" program that allows community members "to take a shelter pet out for a few hours, a few days, or more!"

Paws Around GVL, or PAG for short, was created to help reduce the stress on shelter dogs, work on socialization with humans and other animals, and ultimately, to help them find a home!

I have tried to contact them about surrendering my pets to them and they do not contact you back. it's sad that they hate do me that way or do people that way and they say they have no room. they are all full. so what are we supposed to do with stray pets that you find?

What a great idea. I agree with Mary W. As long as they check out the people first. I net you a lot more animals will get adopted this way 🙂
