Investigation ongoing after woman found dead

The Greenville County Coroner's Office has identified the body of a woman found next to a car near the Judson community of Greenville Monday.

The Greenville County Sheriff's Office responded just after 2:30PM Monday afternoon to Valentine Street where they found a woman dead outside of a vehicle that had crashed through a fence. The coroner's office identified the woman as 46 year old Michez Fowler of Anderson.

The incident is being investigated as a possible shooting and homicide, pending the results of an autopsy scheduled for Tuesday. The Sheriff's Office is asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers of Greenville at 23-CRIME
