A decision has been made, and a former professor at an Upstate University will be allowed to add some of the school's leadership to the list of defendants in a lawsuit.

As we previously reported, Chris Healy, a tenured Professor at Furman, was fired earlier this year. The move came after photos of Healy attending the infamous Charlottesville, Virginia political rally in 2017 surfaced.

The University terminated Healy, claiming he had used discriminatory grading practices towards minority students. Healy has repeatedly refuted those claims and has filed a breach of contract lawsuit against the University.

Thursday, a judge ruled that Healy will be able to add Furman's Dean Of Faculty, Provost and President to the list of defendants in the suit.
