Woman found dead from stab wounds in Greenville

The Greenville County Sheriff's Office investigators now report the death of a 40 year old woman on Edgemont Avenue in Greenville Wednesday, was due to a stab wound to her neck.

The Coroner's Office identified the woman as Maria Teresa Hernandez-Hernandez. No suspect has been named and the Sheriff's Office is asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers of Greenville at 23-CRIME.
