Laurens County Car Break-In Arrests

On August 29, we reported the Laurens County Sheriff's Office opened an investigation after many cars were broken into in the areas of Lakewood Drive, Woodberry Drive and Sunset Blvd.

In a social media post Friday, September 13, 2024, the Sheriff's Office said they arrested Jason Aristide of Greenwood earlier this week and Brandon Robinson of Woodruff yesterday in connection to those break-ins.

A third suspect, a juvenile, was also involved and will "be charged accordingly through [the] Dept. of Juvenile Justice."

Both Artistide and Robinson face 40 charges each including multiple counts of Breaking into Motor Vehicles and Larceny, Criminal Conspiracy  and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.
