Investigation ongoing after woman found dead inside vehicle

An investigation is underway after a woman was found dead in the Upstate, Wednesday morning. The Greenville County Sheriff's Office responded to the 500 block of Highway 8 in Pelzer just before 8AM.

Deputies arrived and found a woman dead inside a vehicle in the front yard of a stranger's home. Investigators say she suffered at least one gunshot wound.
