A non-stop flight is being added at Western North Carolina's largest airport to a major northeastern city. Delta says they will add non-stop service from Asheville to Boston 's Logan Airport in the Spring of 2025.

The flight will operate on weekends and will run once daily on Saturday and Sundays beginning May 10th. This marks Delta's 4th non-stop offering from Asheville adding Bean Town to direct flights to Atlanta, Minneapolis/St Paul and New York's LaGuardia Airport.

The Asheville Airport is undergoing a 400 million dollar renovation which will include a new terminal with a dozen gates.

With the big push for our Country going with green deals and all of us being told to go Electric with our mode of transportation why haven't we seen any efforts by the airline industry to go Electric with their planes, jets and so on that they put in the air. don't people understand just how much pollution the airlines put in the air. I feel they need to keep up with the rest of us and force them to be active in the search for a better non pollution way! let's see how they like it!
