Arrest made in connection to Upstate murder case

An arrest has been announced in connection to an Upstate murder case. The Greenville County Sheriff's Office responded last Wednesday to a reported shooting on the 500 block of Highway 8. Investigators say the victim, Mindy McDonald was fatally shot and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The suspect 40 year old, Phillip Charles Reeves was later arrested. He's charged with murder and a weapons violation. Reeves is being held without bond in Greenville County. Below is a photo of Reeves.
