Two detained after Upstate shooting incident

A shooting reported in the Upstate Friday afternoon.

Not long after the heavy winds let up Friday, authorities responded to an incident off Colonial Avenue in Greenville.

The 3:30 shooting ended in one person sustaining a non-life-threatening injury.

The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office says two neighbors got into an altercation and that this was what led to the shooting.

Both individuals are currently detained, though no charges have yet to be announced.

An investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
