Upstate's largest mall site being used to house outage workers

Many around the Greenville area that have been wondering what all the tents, equipment and trailers are doing at the Haywood Mall? The area is being used as housing for utility workers.

Many of those workers are here from out of state and hotel rooms in the area with working utilities are still scarce. The site also is housing new transformers that will be used to replace the vast amount of transformers that have been damaged and destroyed after powerlines have fallen as a result of the storm.
