The quick thinking of a police officer in North Carolina may well have saved a dog's life. Last Wednesday, a Gastonia police officer responded to a report that a dog had been shot.

He arrived on scene at a woman's home and was told the dog had been shot on the porch, The officer quickly put the dog Paco in his patrol car and rushed Paco to the Emergency Vet Clinic.

The dog was treated for injuries and has since returned home. No arrests have been announced in connection to the shooting, as of the time of this report.

Yes others paid the vet bill and now the poor dog with the gun shot wound is back out in back of the yard chained to a giant chain..gun shot wound and all. Chained in the dirt. Poor dog doesn’t have a chance.
