Suspected gang members in custody after search

Spartanburg County deputies have arrested suspected gang members after a ground and air search. Just before 5PM Tuesday, deputies began their search for three men that fled after crashing a white Chevrolet Camaro in Duncan and were later seen getting into a black Kia SUV.

That Kia was spotted by deputies, who attempted to pull over the SUV, which stopped near River Falls subdivision and the occupants fled on foot. All three were eventually apprehended by deputies and a K9 officer.

One of the suspects was armed with a handgun. All three are now in custody and the investigation has been turned over to the Sheriff's Office Gang Unit.
