The Commanders have added some veteran depth to their secondary group, signing cornerback Kevon Seymour to the practice squad.

Seymour, a sixth-round pick of the Bills in 2016, has 64 games of NFL experience and spent the last three seasons with the Ravens, recording 31 tackles, one sack, and one pass breakup in eight games last season.

The 30-year-old played one season in Baltimore and one in Carolina before spending 2018 on IR and 2019 out of the league. He then hooked on in Baltimore, and over those six seasons with three teams, he has notched 83 tackles, eight passes defensed, one sack, and one forced fumble.

Seymour joins fellow veteran Bobby Price and rookie Chigozie Anusiem as practice squad options for DC Joe Whitt Jr.’s depleted cornerback group, which is missing Emmanuel Forbes due to injury and saw Michael Davis underperform and end up benched Sunday.

Davis is, right now, the only active depth between nominal starting outside corners Benjamin St-Juste and Noah Igbinoghene and nickel Mike Sainristil.
