Laying on the bed was 61-year-old Jerry Hernandez and his wife, 52-year-old Sonia Hernandez. The couple was bloody and dead from gunshot wounds.</p><h2>INVESTIGATION A MURDER-SUICIDE</h2><p>According to police, they were investigating the situation as a murder-suicide. Records from the Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office show Jerry's death was a homicide, and his wife Sonia's cause of death was listed as a suicide.</p><p>"We were deeply saddened to learn of the sudden passing of our colleague, Jerry Hernandez, and our deepest sympathies are with the Hernandez family during this incredibly difficult time," <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/us/texas-attorney-killed-murder-suicide-1-6m-mansion">Davis Law Firm</a> said<a href="https://www.mysanantonio.com/news/local/article/jerry-hernandez-san-antonio-19718699.php">.</a></p><p><i>The couple left behind a 25-year-old daughter.</i></p><p>"We are still awaiting details, as this unexpected loss came as a shock.
