    Slow Start Dooms Fever in Loss to Minnesota

    MINNEAPOLIS, MN.—The Indiana Fever fell behind by double digits early and came up short to the Minnesota Lynx (22-8) Saturday night 90-80.

    The Lynx jumped out to a 29-16 lead in the first quarter, but the Fever rallied to cut the deficit to one at halftime 45-44.

    After that, however, the Lynx controlled the second half to win the game. They shot 41% from three-point range while the Fever hit just 25% of their three-pointers.

    Minnesota’s Napheesa Collier led all scorers with 31 points.

    Caitlin Clark paced the Fever with 23 points and 8 assists.

    Indiana is now 13-16. They face the 10-18 Atlanta Dream Monday night at 7:30 pm.
