Should Governor Whitmer Pardon Misdemeanor Marijuana Convictions In Michigan?
A little over 5 years ago, Michigan's lawmakers and Governor Gretchen Whitmer signed the recreational use of marijuana into Michigan law. This would mean that adults over the age of 21 would be able to carry and use marijuana under guidelines that are similar to those surrounding alcohol use and carry. This would prove to be a turning tide in the state as many different opinions formed. Since then, there have been far fewer arrests made for marijuana possession than in previous years which should have been expected.
Daryl Hall Says Rift With John Oates ‘Frees Me’
Daryl Hall is not losing sleep over his public rift with longtime partner John Oates, instead taking the opportunity to relish in his new professional freedom. "John and I did not have a creative relationship for decades; the last song I wrote with John was in 2000 and that was with somebody else," Hall told Billboard. "We toured and we toured and we toured, and it was very restrictive to me, and to John. The real truth of it all is John just said one day he didn't want to do it anymore. I said 'OK,' but the problem is [Oates] didn't make the parting and breakup easy, and that's where the difficulties lay and still lay, and that's all it is."

Michigan, Ohio and Illinois are Among Most Selfie-Obsessed States
A recent study dropped exposing the most selfie-obsessed states in America. You might find the top 2 spots hilarious. It's important to note that this is far from a scientific study. SpinBet recently crunched the numbers on how often each state mentioned the word selfie online. With that in mind, selfie-obsessed include people who take too many selfies and the people complaining about them. I expected California to be number 1 and New York to be number 2. However, Florida and Texas had other plans. I think the real news here is Illinois, Ohio, and Michigan.
