These shootings will never stop because y'all aren't prepared to do what it takes. What does it take, you ask? Stop and frisk. To get the guns off the streets. But only for juveniles. Just random weapon checks. No ID check. No checking pockets. No running names. Just stop and frisk. No gun, keep it moving. Find a gun on a kid? Seize it, write it up and call his parents. Find a gun on him the second time, lock him up. This is the only way we'll get these hot guns off the streets. But like I said, y'all just don't have what it takes to do what needs to be done. It'd be an effort to save black lives en masse, but y'all would call it racist and oppressive. Nevermind black juveniles are literally 17x more likely to get shot to death than any other ethnicity. You'd think you'd be willing to do WHATEVER it took to save your kids. The police only kill about 3/400 black people a year. Black people kill about 15,000 black people a year. Stop and frisk is the only way to stop it, people.

If they get out and ride around in neighborhoods instead of depending on those solar power cameras they put out and stop doing phone interviews they just might catch someone. But it’s like that everywhere. All we can do is pray.
