Raynham Man Sentenced for Drug Trafficking and Firearms
RAYNHAM (WBSM) — A Raynham man pleaded guilty to drug trafficking while also being in possession of illegal guns. Terrance Silveira, 37, pleaded guilty last week to indictments charging him with trafficking fentanyl, trafficking cocaine, five counts of possessing with intent to distribute fentanyl, and one count each of unlawful possession of ammunition, unlawful possession of a firearm, and of a high capacity feeding device.

FAIRHAVEN (WBSM) — A Fairhaven woman is seeking the public's help finding a kidney donor to decrease a multi-year wait and prevent a lifetime of dialysis. By the age of 10, Nellie Zygiel, 20, was diagnosed with vasculitis, a rare and chronic disease. It is a condition that damages the blood vessels with inflammation and or swelling.
Brockton Fatal Shooting Leads to Two Arrests
BROCKTON (WBSM) — Two men have been arrested in connection to a fatal shooting in Brockton, and Massachusetts State Police are continuing their search for a third suspect. On March 31 at approximately 2:17 a.m., Brockton Police received a 911 call for a report of a shooting inside a home on Hoover Avenue. Police found Sedrick Abreu, 27, suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. He was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
New Bedford Man Convicted on Rape and Molestation Charges
NEW BEDFORD (WBSM) — A New Bedford man was convicted last week for rape and molestation of underage victims. Joel Berberena, 35, was convicted in Fall River Superior Court on indictments charging him with two counts of rape of a child-aggravated by age difference, four counts of indecent assault and battery on a person under the age of 14, and one count each of rape of a child by force and indecent assault and battery on a person over the age of 14.
