Strange Sun Country Flight is Now in Danger of Going Extinct
It was one of the shortest-- and cheapest-- flights out of Minnesota that Sun Country Airlines ever offered. But it might be soon a thing of the past. It was nearly two years ago that Sun Country Airlines, Minnesota's hometown airline, announced that it was adding service from the Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport (MSP) to Chippewa Valley Regional Airport in Eau Claire, Wisconsin (EAU). Those flights ran a whopping 21 minutes, a distance of just 85 miles, and were part of a $6.5 million annual grant meant to improve travel in rural America.

We've done the Duck Boat tours, Mount Olympus, Go Karts, Mini-golfing, Ripley's Believe It Or Not, The Tommy Bartlett Water Show (RIP), and others. One thing we hadn't done yet was the Lost Canyon Horse Tours.
Sun Country Vs. Skywest: The “Battle” For The MPLS-Eau Claire Route

By the time you get through all the security, TSA, taxi, take off, then landing getting off the plane, then either renting a car, getting ride service, or some other form of "pick up". You could drive from Minneapolis to Eau Claire, Wisconsin for about the same amout of time give or take 15 minutes.

Festival and fair season is here. and few things make me me happier than loading up on all the tasty foods.
